Things I’ve Learned During The Pandemic 2020 – Part 3

You can choose to have each day be the same as yesterday or NOT.

It’s the start of a new week, and I’m happy to report that I am still maintaining a routine that accommodates my work, community work, family life, and personal time & growth.

To say the least, it’s been an interesting couple of months.  We are navigating in unchartered territories, and it is yielding quite a different world.  The good part is that the world is going through this together and not against each other.  And it’s up to us to learn from it.

Realignment is Good Business

I have heard numerous people state that each day feels like Groundhog Day.  I absolutely do not feel this way.  While at times I have gotten confused as to which day it is, I believe THIS is the time to spend strategizing your business plan and your future.  This is the time for reinventing and reinvesting so that you are not reacting to situations, but you are in charge of the situation.  It is going to be different after we have flattened the curve, and with this time, we should be anticipating how this will affect our lives and businesses.  Perhaps this means altering one’s savings plan or developing new skills to be relevant.  My organization has used this time to expand our relationships and establish partners for collaboration for upcoming opportunities.  We are trying to leave no stone unturned. I firmly believe that this will make us a stronger company and hopefully, give us an edge moving forward.

We will get through this, and I know we will get through this stronger than had it not existed.  But we should utilize this time to be enlightened, empowered, and engaged.
